Involvement

Opportunities to Excel

Just as adults need regular and specific goals to stay motivated and focused, young children need them even more. The problem with the one piano exam per year and nothing else approach that so many teachers fall into, is students get bored, lose their incentive, progress slowly and often give up prematurely without being given the opportunity to get excited about music!

The answer is to get involved and at Treviano Studio we encourage all of our students to participate in:
Regular performing helps:
  • Create a feeling of excitement and inspiration
  • Maintain interest in playing
  • Develop self-confidence
  • Improve home piano practice
  • Connect with other young pianists
  • Give the student a real sense of achievement
